Steps
- Choose the wrap you want. For kids, it could be low-carb, low-fat or tomato and also spinach version. For smaller sandwiches, you can choose soft taco. Cutting the bread crusts could be worked for a small wrap.
- Think about the spread. It is the complement for wrap flavor. It could be mustard, cheese, mayonnaise and many more. So, just see what the favorite one that your kids love to have.
- Choose the ingredients. It could be sliced vegetables for breakfast. Shredded or sliced cheese could work too for the breakfast. Lunch meat is perfect for school. Combine them all if you want to make a complete menu.
- Lay your wrap flat and layer it first with spread, meat, cheese, vegetables. Wrap it from one end. Roll it tightly and place one more spread on sandwich at the end of the roll. It could be “glue”. Wrap it in plastic wrap. Put it into refrigerator for two hours.
- Remove the plastic wrap. Slice into 1 or two inches of pinwheel sandwiches. Serve it immediately as pinwheel sandwiches for kids.
